PART 1. TEN DAYS IN TAIWAN. 260313-040413

HIHIHI, so yes, i went to TAIWAN for 10 days. I really enjoyed th stay thereee that i just wished that i wont have to return homeeeeeeee! So my brother, cousin and her girlfriend, th four of us went together! Its my second trip to taiwan. Th first was in 2009 for 8 days. Cousin actually wanted to extend our stay there till sat, but i got to workkk.. :( so anw i can get to see th little kiddies after so long so anw its still okay. :) Looked forward to this tripp LIKE REALLY then. Cause studying is so tiring.. but i still have to study~~ HAHAH anw it was good times there!

Day 1 (BRO'S B'DAY) :  Flight was at 12 plus noon? I cant reallly recalll, it was Tiger airways, first time on that, and many told me how bad it was but still, i survived, it was really quite squeezy but it was fine after i lowered the seat. Second time on budget airlines, first was scoot and surprisingly it was really comfortable cause we got the seats near to the window or door i guess, that was to bkk. Reached tw at 5 plus, super cold cause it was drizzling too, and i wore sandalss... =.= caught a buss to the bullet train, headed to kaoshiong, took the mrt to where we stayedd, took some time to locate the place, FOUND, Travel Home Apartment, super happy. Living room with 3 rooms, got a room to myself, bro too. Like specially for us! Princess kind of bed for me, and bro's was like jap style! EXCITED! Dump our luggage aside and out to the Nightmarkets. Warm up-ing. Went a few at a go, Rueifang was the best! returned home at around 12 plus, got to seven eleven and got bro a small cheese cake, not considered cake though.. cousie gf suggested! turned in super late that day, in fact everyday we only slept at 2 plus 3...

 

Day 2: I woke up at 9.30 and waited for cousie to get up, but they were already preparing, so i got ready and woke bro up, in th process of that, i leaned against the wardrobe and played candy crush while kicking bro's bed (he sleeps like a log/pig) Cousin was on the couch and gf was drawing the curtains. At 10.10am, i lost my balanced and gf stopped what she was doing and told me that the building shooked and we were like ohnoo.. Cousin had 'a moment of dizziness'! And my bro was like in the midst of waking up, "Got earthquake ah?".... -,- Later, aunt and uncle called from sg and said that there was a 6.0 magnitude earthquake somewhere in tw. Life still continues. Breakfast was a great one and left to Cijin island by a 10 min ferry ride! Before that, we had some ice, the famous one that most dramas filmed at. Initially we wanted to rent bikes or motorbikes but ended up walking, explored the place had seafood and went back. Mrt to dream mall. We are like one of the few people inside the mall, it was so emptyyyyyy!!! Went up to the open sky wheel, took that SKY WHEEL thing that scared the shit out of us, the small cabin moves the moment we moveeee.... super scary thinking of the earthquake that just happened that morning! We thought we could see the shape of love river thats up we went up, but didn't see anything th love river AT ALL. :( We literally screamed one round down.. Next love river! then chiong night market till late night!

Day 3: By the time we left house it was already close to 12 noon already, bought bus tickets to Meinong and Cishan old street. it was quite a long bus ride! Doesn't seem to have any crowd anywhere we go... so i didnt took any pics, further more i was having a super bad ear block for who-knows-why. Went to Rueifang night market that night only, cause that was th best night market in kaoshiong in our own opinion! Shop, Eat, Play they have it all! So we went there again as it was the last night in kaoshiong! Everything there was deliciousss, th only thing that taste super bad was th deep fried banana skin. (we got scammed, i think he is just recycling unwanted banana skin) We thought it was cool but it was so disgusting! Played th night market games, th shooting balloon thingy, marbles and throw ring thing! I won myself a small small plushie keychain. Went back around 12 plus plus! it was really fun!

Day 4: Woke up really early this day to catch the bullet train! Met a kind taxi driver! Bye to kaoshiong and Hi to Taipei! Bullet train's bento was really nice! We stayed in Ximending ehouse hotel! It was so cold in Taipei that we shivered and jumped, got to the hotel but we cant check in until 3pm, so we went down to buy shoes and jacket, cause its too cold and cousie and i wore slipper and sandals. :P Checked in and went to book the steamboat buffet for Monday!! heheeh, bought easy card for travellers and here we go and explored ximending and somewhere i forgot where, we saw snakes, thick fat ones, the shops were selling snake soup or something? It was super disgusting and scary la, so long and thick! Went back to the hotel to rest a bit. At 9.30 pm the TV showed 200 pound beauty! LOVES. Went out at 10 plus, cousie and bro wanna go to clubs and pubs and im still 17 yo, they asked the taxi uncle which club can let this xiao meimei in? hahaha, obviously cannot la, so we ended up in a lounge bar for supper instead. Le brother called me a burden T.T Th waitress asked bro, Cousie and his gf what drinks they want and skipped me :( Then she came back to ask me and i said apple juice, i find it funny. Chatted about childhood memoriesssss, i likeee, MEMORIESS~! Went back late and slept even later. 

Day 5 : Saturday our HOT SPRING DAY! We woke up really late, breakfast was some duck oily soup something like that? IT WAS OILY. MRT-ed to xinbeitou, where all the hot springs are. Wanted to go to the public pool, but we cant cause we didn't bring our swimwear, and we didn't want to spent $$ buying them there. So we walked around and decided to book a room for hotspring! Chose Broadway Hot spring Hotel. Didn't want the public one in the hotel where girl and guys are separated with no view at all. So the only one available then was the Japanese Tatami room for 2, we took that and paid for another 2 persons for 4 of us! Wanted to soak my whole body, but its the time of the month~~~ so yeah, the guys went first and i watched TV first then we switch! hahaha! soaked my leggggggggs! Th view was not baddd, at least i see mountains, HAHAH. Left at 4, NEXT, we left for DanShui. We spent a really long time there, like till the sun set. There's like shops that sell old school stuffs including SWEETS! Bought the fish crackers, famous there, bought a lot! And when we are done, it started to pour... So we stopped and waited for the rain stop or at least lighten. Means, candy crush breakk. AHAH, Continued shopping in that area,skipped some places on our itinerary. Bought a bit too much and so we cabbed back to the hotel first before conquering the night markets again! Was another late night again!
